I used a filter from autozone and it worked fine, doubt there is much difference in performance of the filter. As far as tranny fluid I think it should be changed every few thousand. However, don't take me too seriously, 85,000 miles and not a tranny fluid change yet (Was going to but then got scared when I kept hearing it could f up the tranny if it hadn't been changed regularly).

I just got an AC Delco fuel filter for... You know what I don't know how much I paid. Got it through my dad... Nice filter though, no problems as of yet. I think it was 20 bucks or so.

Fuel filters are cheap, I used an autozone one for 10 bucks. Tranny fluid should be changed every 15k or once every year.

I used a FRAM one for like $15. Works fine.

Why would you want a clear filter, you don't even see it unless you are under the car.

i'd want a clear one to keep to see if theres any crap goin throught the filter i should know about. just an extra precaution for maintance when changing the filters, you'd be able to know if you have any particles or not floating around.
