Battery relocation questions

Ive read the archives and still have a couple of questions. Where is everyone mounting their batteries at in the trunk. I was thinking in that space under the drivers side speaker in the trunk. It fits perfectly. Also are kill switches mandatory if you dont run anything more professional than Quick 8 street class on a test n tune night or is it track specfic. If anyone has pics I would appreciate seeing them.

NHRA requires that you use a sealed and vented, NHRA-approved battery box, since the battery will be in the passenger compartment. It can not be fastened to the car with anything like J-hooks. And they require a master kill switch for ALL relocated batteries. Whether your local track follows NHRA rules or enforces them is another story.

Is that spot under the speaker in the rear drivers side a good place to put the battery. I imagine the box would have to vented outside of the passenger compartment kind of like a nitrous blow down tube
