? about 1le intake elbow

Hello , I was wondering about upgrading to the 1le elbow from my Z. Would the fact that it was built for the 1le models affect my air conditioning? Thanks for your replies in advanced.

No, its just a replacement that eliminates the "resonator" part of the elbow.

You can make a plug to replace the stock donky dong out of a shampoo bottle. I forgot the name but a search should bring it up. I remember a few members doing it back in early 05

but on mine, i didn't want to mess anything up so i just put about 3 layers of duct tape on the inside of the tube covering the hole. should be the same right? the 1le is way too overpriced for what it actually is. same with the other aluminum ones, unless you're getting it more for looks

Hopefully, those 3 layers of duct tape are not on the inside of the elbow air flow surface, where they could come loose and enter the throttle body......

Yeah you wouldnt feel to smart if you sucked up the tape. Go with the shampoo bottle deal.
