Do you have headers? If you don't that is a big NO NO. Something is deffinately wrong with the car. I would think your trap would be around 89 or so. Your definately missing quite a few hp. Goodluck on finding your prob.

The 8.62 in the 1/8th converts to approx 13.50 in the quarter. Given your mods there is something wrong. With your set up you should be the the low 8's in the 1/8th.

My car hss the hot cam, stock heads, headers and a much tighter converter (which is really hurting it). Other than that we have about the same mods. My best is:

60 foot 1.83
1/8th 8.37 @ 82.5 mph
1/4th 13.12 @ 105mph

Good luck

I feel the same way b/c I have a Hotcam kit
a set of mildy ported Lt1 heads and some 3.23's. I have run a best of 7.97 in the 1/8th with a 1.75 60'. I just installed a set of 3.42's and had to go thru my trans but will be racing this weekend. You didn't say whether or not you had headers but I am guessing headers are almost a given with the mods you have. You need to check alot of things like Knock retard, timing and plugwires are a few. Let us know what you find.

Without headers and decent cat back your car is completely stifled... Open up the exhaust before looking further for problems.

You might want to dyno the car. Your trap speed is way low, the ET is really high for your mods. Maybe the ed wright mail order tuning is off? You might want to get a scanmaster or similar scanning tool and see if your car is pulling timing due to false knock. Hope you can get it sorted out.

Check for timing being pulled out, that has hurt me in the past. And get those Hooker long tubes on that bad boy! I promise you'll be happy...

Your mph seems really low. I trap 84-85 with a CAI and headers but I am a m6 so there is a little extra there but not that much. I hope you get it sorted out because you should be flying. Also, if you are getting false knock, the headers might make that worse. I would try a scanning program to check for knock.
