"95" SS Loss of power
Many 96 cars were built in 95...but were 96's, not 95's.
California cars had the dual cats setup earlier so that isn't necessarily going to help.
The best way, if you still have questions, is to contact SLP and ask for a birth certificate. They'll ask for the VIN and the result will be known right there.

and by the way, my brother in law had a 1995 Z M6 that had a single cat. my other brother in law also had a 1995 Z A4 which was a dual cat car.......

Dual cats were used in 1995 on "CA Emissions" A4 cars. A single cat was used on "49-state" A4 cars. There is also an RPO code on the build tag if it was a "CA Emissions" car.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean here. What I was trying to say is that there wasn't an SS model for 1995. They started with the 1996 model year, regardless of when they were made. I guess if the new model year didn't start in the middle of the calendar year it would be easier to follow....
