Thanks bud! 95Bird & myself do our best to make the LT1's proud at the Thunder Shootout next month and surprise a few LS1 owners LOL.
I'll be doing a few more mods to the car in the next two weeks before the Shootout as I think the car has a few more horsepower to squeeze out.
I do have one BIG sticking point though that might knock me out of the race... I'm still running a 10 bolt!!! It's already lived through numerous 1.5 launches, but this combo is going to be hell on it!!!
I'm putting the car on the track on the 26th to see how it does. I'll be saying my prayers that the rearend will last long enough to make a good showing in the Shootout... we'll see LOL

Looks pretty good!
I don't mean to be negative, but I've got a question, it doesn't look like you make much at all under 3500-3600 RPM...what's the deal with that? Or is that pretty normal...
I mean, is it pretty weak on low RPM?
Just wondering!

yeah........im kinda curious why people even care about power under 3-3500 rpm for a car whos goal is 1/4 drag racing..........in the course of a race, you never go that low anyway.
all that power down low does is make it trickier to drive in the rain.

you have to remember guys..that was with the locked converter..he dynoed again the other night and with the converter unlocked it made 426 peak...put had a flat power band over 400 from the time he hit it untill they shut it down. Damn torque converters He has also changed to a yank 4400 stall. I really don't thing this thing will have a weak low end problem..lol.
We are taking it to the track tonight for shake down runs.
Neil..I'm trying to get my tranny fixed for the shootout. Its gonna be close.

LT1 R&D is alive and well!
