This may be getting off topic, but what exactly does it mean to allow for more timing? Does that mean the cylinder is firing when the piston is closer to the top of the cylinder, or the top of its compression stroke?
"More timing" refers to increasing the spark advance.... = firing the plug more degrees BEFORE the piston reaches TDC. Builds more cylinder pressure, but increases the risk of detonation, if the fuel octane is not high enough. But E85 is a bit more complicated than that. And yes.... its getting off topic.
LPE Z convt, My set up is similar to yours but I have not gotten my dyno tune yet. I also need a couple other things (stall convertor, gears) installed. I should hope to have these installed by summer. Then it is own to the body and interior of the car(never ending story is what my wife thinks of it as). Anyway good to see another vert making good power and keep up the good work.
Thanks and good luck with your vert as well.
