This may be getting off topic, but what exactly does it mean to allow for more timing? Does that mean the cylinder is firing when the piston is closer to the top of the cylinder, or the top of its compression stroke?

I talk to LE this morning and decided to port and flow the heads get new springs thiner head gaskets and he's going to make me a cam.

"More timing" refers to increasing the spark advance.... = firing the plug more degrees BEFORE the piston reaches TDC. Builds more cylinder pressure, but increases the risk of detonation, if the fuel octane is not high enough. But E85 is a bit more complicated than that. And yes.... its getting off topic.
