400rwhp
right now my car has 384rwhp and I want to get to 400rwhp really bad.(buddy said it couldnt be done on stock bottom end. I would love to prove him wrong) Someone told me if I were to get rid of my pacesetter LT's and used a tuned header like Hooker, Kooks or dynatech that I could hit 400rwhp. Does anyone agree with this? Please feel free to post your idea's.

Which AFR's? Were they "out of the box", or was additional porting done to get them to flow decently?
Do a "search"..... there's a thread by a guy making almost 460rwHP on a stock bottom end, running E85.

I would call you very lucky to be making that power with those crappy but extrememly expensive parts. But had you done things right and spent far less you could have had another 40hp like speed_demon24 429rwhp ported GM heads and over 10 degrees less duration to achieve it.
LPE Z convt, My set up is similar to yours but I have not gotten my dyno tune yet. I also need a couple other things (stall convertor, gears) installed. I should hope to have these installed by summer. Then it is own to the body and interior of the car(never ending story is what my wife thinks of it as). Anyway good to see another vert making good power and keep up the good work.
The AFR's are out of the box. I have another set of stock heads that I was going to get ported instead but when I took them to the machine shop they said they could not port them because there were not the heavy duty casting. What kind of porting would you suggest to do on the AFR's to make them work better.

Whats the casting # on the heads?
