Re: 1993 lt1 no crank

Got the module and instructions say to remove radio and radio panel. Reach through radio opening, up to the top of the TDM and unplug the harness. That seems almost impossible. There must be a better way. Anyone go through the top of the dash somewhere?

I also purchased a module but can’t figure out how to get it. Stereo is removed and I see the lower right corner of module. Did you have any suggestions?

I tried for days to get to it. Couldn't get it so I just purchased a chip for the ecm. That was simple and it worked.

If I remember right I called and talked to someone at pcm of NC and they had me look up a number on the ecm and they burned a chip that would work with the ecm. The ecm or pcm, whatever you want to call it was located under the hood passenger side back by the fire wall. I'd go to www.pcmofnc.com and get the phone number and call them up and ask for vats bypass chip.
