I have a 93 Z28 the, I put the key in the security light comes on, it goes off after abotu 3 min, but i can never start the car. I had the dealership check the passcode key and it matches the correct ocde for my VIN number. I then check the resistance of the resistor pellet in the ket 3.750 K ohm, then I check the resistance at the plug under the steering column, the one for the key cylinder it read 3.750k ohm. that leads me to believe that it is a VATS module problem, how can i disable this on a 93, where is it and what wires do i connect, can it be done? The fuel pump doesnt come on, the starter wont crank.

Any ideas abotu what this could be?

Tunercat and a new chip. Disable VATS. That's the easiest way I can think of.
