*Wierd* hesitation/miss/stumble come inside->

yesterday it was raining pretty bad i was driving my girl home. i dont remember hitting any puddles or anything. it started i was just coasting down hill 3rd gear went to give it a little gas and it felt like it was hesitating like all the motor wasnt there i gave it some more gas it "kicked in" the engine smothed out and spun the tires a little it was doing this all last night and this morning.. got worse later on that night. in first gear leaving a light it would stumble real bad to about 2-2500 rmp then bam it was fine(you could feel it kickin, jerk yer head back). shift to second and stumble again, bam spin the tires smoth out. let off the gas drift alittle give it gas and stumble again.. today it stoped but i did a couple WOT runs and on the shifts it doest "getup" like it used to. sorta feels like it did with my old fuel pump. any ideas? im praying its not the opti.

Sounds like a misfire to me. Maybe a plug wire burnt on a header tube?

Thomas.
