*excellent info* 93 specific info list.
i have a 93Z m6 and so does my step dad, so any questions i can go look for sure, but I do know that i have the strechy stuff on the driverside visor. His doesn't have this, think mine isn't stock?
This is definately a worthwhile post, and i just read the entire thing, there was one more thing i thought of, but i forgot, i'll remember soon though.

My understanding is that all 93 Camaro's had black roofs and side view mirrors, I am very sure about that. This includes the V6's as well.

This is a cool first time post to be involved in!
I had a 93 Camaro.
Since I still have all of the Camaro brochures from 1993-2002, I can clear up the confusion about the black roof & mirror issue.
In 1993 & 1994, all Camaro models had black mirrors (and door handles).
All 1993 Camaro models with T-Tops had black roofs bars. (There is a real nice fold-away picture of a Purple Pearl Metallic V6 in the brochure) All Z28's had black roofs - regardless of the roof style.
There is the possibility of a V8 only police package (RPO B4C) existing in 1993. That package could have included a body colored roof. Otherwise, only V6 cars without T-Tops had the body colored roofs.
Remote Keyless entry was introduced in the 1994 model year.
(When I was first looking for a 1993 Camaro, many dealers added their own extra cost anti-theft systems)
Body colored mirrors and leather seats were introduced in the 1995 model year. (Black door handles were still the norm) On V6 cars, the "Camaro" script badges disappeared from the front fenders.
In 1996, you finally could get body colored roofs and mirrors on a Z28, even with T-Tops. (It was a no cost option). The cars still came with black door handles. Also in 1996, the molding strip completely surrounded the rear glass. Previous years only had a molding strip at the base of the rear glass.
This is probably more than sufficient for my first post.
Again, this info is all obtained through my brochures.
Carlos - I believe met you at the Rim of the World Cruise last weekend (during our last stop at the gas station) . I had the silver Camaro RS.

im not sure if this was covered, i changed my seats out to leather, and the bolts are welded holding the back and bottow together. and the fuel rails. have groves in them as 94 and up have smooth rounded off. not groves. so thats and easy way to tell if its a 93 , up under the hood, also not keyless entry from what i hear, if i can think anything else i will write again
hey i also heard that 93s had mechanical fuel injection. im not sure about that. and whats the deal with the keyless entry on the z28s mine didnt come with one, i tried to hook one up form 94 and newer and didnt work out. so where do you get keyless entry from and how much, also anyone have indiglo gauge faces?
Cool I'll check into the fuel rails. The 93's have batch fire injection instead of sequential. I am thinking that is what you meant.
What did you mean by this? Where? On what?

well the top portion, your back part, that connects to the *** part
lol, the bolts are welded. and i also notice, that lock tight was on all the bolts, and hard as hellto get off, and my friends 94 ta, he changed to leather, no problem with bolts, and the fuel rails on 93s are groved. like, lines in the, 94s and up are not. just a quick way to tell 93's from 94+.

93 Bose
The 93 bose has a 3 speaker setup instead of 5.
Also, leather came in on late 94 Zs, as the dealer told me if I wanted to wait a month, he had several leather equipped ones inbound.
