Assuming the "bullseye" method is correct, I have the LS1 block. (Build late March 2002)

Just to make myself feel better, does anyone know if the LS6 block that is in some f-bodies *actually* has the extra machined windows, or is it just the casting?

Are we all going to add FLS6B to our sigs now? "Factory LS6 Block"??? hahahha
Yeah but you can't add it to the 'Mods' section. It has to part of your model name: 2002 Camaro Z28/FLS6B
I'm waiting for you to add it to your sig so I can do the same- strictly as a defensive maneuver of course. And then someone will debunk it all and we will all look foolish.

Nah, wont look foolish cause once you change it, its changed on all your messages.. which happens to be really nifty for denying any statements at a later date.. heheh

As much as I get on people for their whacked out mod lists, I think I will make sure to keep this addition to the sigs from there.. now should we add our build date so we can track it? hehe

PsychoCabbage 2002Z28/FLS6B(5-02)?
Ill try it and see how it looks.....

ASSUME YOUR DEFENSIVE POSTURE!

I think you've hit on something. At the very least, we might be able to establish a pattern of some kind. At worst, a lot of people will be confused by your sig.

$2,000 worth of heads and a cam seems to be a pretty good deal for 405 realiable horses.
You'd still be missing the Z06's longer cast headers, dual exhaust, supposedly lower restriction dual brick cat with no pup cats at the manifold, and the improved intake. How much each of these contribute I don't know, but with probably an airbox lid, CAI and maybe an exhaust change you could get there.

Well I'll be darned, looks like I have the LS6 block. Maybe a conversion is in the future for my car as well. It's about the only performance oreiented thing I've got on this car. I'm even saddled with 2.73's.
