Oil leak

Re: Oil leak
These cars have a problem with the rear of the intake manifold leaking oil. I'm not saying this is the cause of the problem, but you can run your hand along the rear of the intake and see if it comes back with oil on it.

Re: Oil leak
On a 1993 LT1 (and very early 1994's) the oil pressure sensor is screwed into the block right above the oil filter. Might be leaking.

Also appears your car may have the oil cooler. The cooler bolts to the block, and the filter screws onto the cooler. This is a1995 w/ oil cooler, but the 93/94 cooler is more of a block shape, and a label w/ the word Modine with the part # on it Cooler might need tightening.

Re: Oil leak
The latest picture appears to be a broken off oil pressure sensor. Looks like the exact location Shoebox's picture shows the 93/early 94 sensor is located. He also has a picture of the 94-97 sensor location, showing what the sensor looks like, so you know what appears to be missing:

It's not the oil cooler lines that get loose and leak oil. The lines only carry coolant to and from the cooler. The oil is simply passing through the cooler on its way to the filter. There are bolts that hold the cooler against the block. Not sure you even have the cooler. They were standard with the T56 manual trans in early years, optional with the auto trans, if I recall correctly. I have a photo of the cooler on my 94, and I'll post it when I get back to my PC where the photos are.

Re: Oil leak
This is the Modine oil cooler used in the 93/94 models.
My late 94 has the oil pressure sensor on top of the block, behind the intake manifold, as shown in Shoebox's photo. I used the 93 sensor location above the filter to connect a -3AN braided S/S line for a mechanical oil pressure gauge located in one of my dash vents. That's why there is a brass fitting above the oil cooler, where yours has the broken pressure sensor.

Re: Oil leak
Yes, broken oil pressure sensor can cause a leak. Looks like there's oil leaking out of it in the picture. Surprised it isn't leaking worse.
The silver part that is left has flats on it so you can use a wrench, a socket, vise grips.... whatever you can fit up in there. Look at the picture of the oil pressure sensor in Shoebox's link of the 94-97 models.... same silver ring with flats on it. Appears you are missing the complete black portion in his picture, that's what has broken off. See below, the black part of the 93 sensor may be smaller, or just the wire attachment part.

Don't know is the 93 sensor is exactly the same shape, but should be similar. Shoebox has the part #'s, indicating there were two different sensors:
