Angry Please!! help with oil leak..Im at my wits end.

Im having a HUGE oil leak...so much so cars behind me get oil on their windshield, I have oil all over my back bumper, I make a smoke screen when I drive, and I drove around for about 40 miles two days ago and went from 4 holes on the dip stick to one!

Things Ive noticed so far..
1. Its a driver's side leak...the LT on the side in the oil filter area is now completely brown. There is oil all over the place from the tranny back though.
2. There is no leak on the front of the motor.
3. Its not the dipstick, oil plug, or oil level sensor
4.Today I started the car on ramps and wrapped a rag around the oil pressure sensor on the back of the block. Once the car was off I checked it and wiped the back of the intake and block....both are bone dry.
5. The oil pan gasket is dry on both sides but once you get towards the back of the block they are oily(along with everything else)
6. I took of the inspection cover and the back of the flywheel is bone dry along with the areas around the rear main seal.

Im at my wits end now and the car cant move until I figure this out....Any ideas or more things to check?

Did you check the oil filter.... the can and the gasket... and did you check to see that the oil filter mounting block was solidly bolted to the block.

Also, did you check the valve covers/gaskets?

Are you sure it's not the oil filter? Is it on tight enough?
Does your car have an oil cooler? It would be located above the oil filter.

I checked to see that the oil filter was on tight already. Only one oil filter has been used during this leak so maybe for some reason it was faulty or the seal was bad.

I havent checked to make sure that the oil filter mount to the block is on tight yet...although Im pretty sure it is.

I still have yet to check the valvecovers and seals. Ill do that when I adjust the rocker arms again tommorow.

From what I describe can I rule out the rear main and or intake?
