Battery Relocation Questions

1. When relocating the battery to the back, is it better to run the positive cable to the starter or to the fender distribution block?

B. What is the recommended wire size to be run off of the alternator and starter to power? I'll be running 1/0 from the battery up.

IV. Let me see if I have this right in regards to the positive wiring:
Battery> cutoff switch> fuse/solenoid> starter or distribution block ALSO, Alternator power needs to go to safety cutoff battery side in order for cutoff to work. Correct?

F. Where is the best place to ground the battery when located in spare tire well?

I appreciate any help.

Re: Battery Relocation Questions

Okay, after reading that, I have a couple of questions.

1. What was the reasoning for welding a bolt to the front subframe for ground instead of using the original passenger side fenderwell ground near the original battery location or the ground on the block?

2. I am not a welder and don't have any welding equipment. Is there an existing point on the rear subframe I can use as a ground point instead? I'd like to avoid running another ground all the way up to the block if possible.
