I have a 95 with the LT1. Sometimes it is very hard to start and once it does finally start the service engine light is on. Car runs great but the ac does not work. The optispark has been replaced. I pulled codes on it. (I have an OBDI scanner) and it says egr. But I am not understanding why my ac does not work when the ses light is on.

 

What is the actual code number? There are two codes for EGR - DTC 27 for the EGR solenoid, and DTC 32 for incorrect EGR flow.

And that is the only code?

 

What scanner do you use? Some are bogus for your car.
