95 Camaro 3.4L and the SES light...
I've had this recurring problem with my car when I'm on the freeway. When I pull off onto the offramp, as soon as I let my foot off the gas, the SES light comes on. The car doesn't run any different, but it does this EVERY time. I'm getting tired of it.
Plugs are about 6 months old, but I pulled them to clean and gap last week. Plug wires are brand new, and the O2 sensors were replaced last September. Any ideas??
Can I use a jumper wire to get the SES light to flash on my 95 Camaro? It's got the OBDII port and the OBDI ECM. My Chiltons says no. What do you guys say?

My car has done the same thing for a long time. The general consensus on here is that its probably the EGR. I've neglected replacing it because the car acts no different when the SES is on, and b/c EGRs are f'in expensive.
If the SES comes on only under light acceleration and not under WOT or idle, it is the EGR.
I had that...the SES will turn off after a few trips then back on. It is expensive...$300 generally.
