LTx vs LSx Fuel Pumps

Hey guys, I have a quick question before I order my Walbro 255lph pump. It asks me if I want the 93-97 version or the 98-02 version. What are the differences between the two?

I beleive the lsx one does not use a fuel return. I think thats the only diff.

LS1 is also higher pressure, IIRC.

I'm not sure if you guys are talking just about the pumps themselves or if you are talking about the whole fuel system. I know the LSx runs at 60psi versus LTx 43.5, but I figured that was a function of the regulator. Also the LSx does have a return it's just in the tank with the regulator instead off the rail.

I'm not sure if all LS1 pumps are the same but I got a racetronix 255 for free from a friends car and it works, but It did not fit in the stock bucket. I had to end up clamping it to the metal arm much the same way twin setups are done. Wasn't horrible, but if you want a stock plug and play with no hassle get the LT1 pump for an LT1. *side note, it made no difference at all in line pressure. at least on my car*

The LS1 systems run at 58psi (4 bar).

The LS1 (except the 97 Corvette) uses a dead-end system, with a bypass style regulator, as opposed to the LT1's recirculated system, with the regulator on the return.

Thanks guys for the input, I talked to Matt and New Era and he said that the pumps are the same so it doesn't matter. I just ordered my two pumps for my BBC setup.
