Question Fuel Pump Help.

On my 1997 CamaroZ28 I'm not getting any fuel at all.
How to I confirm that the pump is dead for sure?
I pulled off the panel on the drivers side where the hood latch is and I can hear and feel the relay clicking but no fuel.
I just want to make sure ht pump is dead.
And to top it off my exhaust Welded so if the pum is bad I'm going to have a fun time.
Let me know if somebody can help.
Thanks,

Have you checked the fuel pressure? Have you used the fuel pump prime connector to verify operation?

I put a gauge on it and have no presser.
A for the fuel pump prime connector I put 12 volts to it and still no pressure or fuel

Verify that you are getting power and ground to the pump at the last location under the car. If you are and the pump does not run, then your pump is the likely culprit.

Thanks

I will have to check the power at the rear but I think I just ran it with too little gas a killed the pump.
A stock pump at advanced auto parts is $251.12
is there s cheaper way of replacing the pump?
I was looking at a pump at summit racing for $125.95.
Its a Granatelli Motor Sports one part number GM722-2
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
But it says on there web page that Some models require additional modifications for proper fitment.
I'm just wounding what I might have to do to get it set up.
Thanks,

Just confirmed power to the pump and power on cranking.
Both + and - to the pigtail so I do have a dead pump.
Now starts the fun.
Thanks,
