Today the - last half
-mounted remote oil flter base
-mached up oil system for mesurments
-speced oil lines and fittings and had them picked up
-ran oil feed line to turbo
-custom fabed 10AN line from filter base to cooler
-made some more progress on the hood latch
-painted pan hard welds and remote filter base welds

Notes:
I have to take the radiator in/out and bumbper on/off every time I do something on this car. It's getting so crowded light is an issue when trying to work.

Thumbs up

Don't tempt me Jody. I'm out of organs to sell to pay for what I've got!

Let me answer hat question. Given that the motor does not run out of fuel, the car has to make 700RWHP+. With that mark being met, the suspension is actually designed for handling (full-blown Unbalanced Engineering setup). It should at least be low 10's, but I would be disappointed if a good driver couldn't get it to dip into the high 9's.

went in today on my day off to finish up the oiling system.
-Valve cover was not back from the TIG weld shop
-Canton spin on adapter still has not shown up

My goal is safley dyno it and deliver it to Ken ready for him to flog it.
I have been in the game for a while. 700RW on 91 pump gas, thru a 4L60E, thru a single 3" pipe w/ cut out, on a 355, on a single fuel line is a TALL ORDER. Is it possible yes. In this first configuration right out of the gate........

I did not, spec the motor, the turbo kit, or suspension. This project was already like 2 years in motion when it was thrust upon me. This is, in no way, my recomended build combo. This thing will makes what it makes. My job is to make sure it is put together right and not hurt on break in or tune.

Personally, At this budget and complexity level I would shoot for 650RWHP NA with modest CR 500CI LS2 ERL tall deck then put a conservative 150 hit on it at the track. It would weight about 300lb less have zero lag better tuning software and data logger and be making a ton less hp per cubic inch aka less liability of breakage and meltdown.

Not that Ken and Haddad's are doing it wrong I personally would take a different path. Snorkelface shoulf be way bitchen when it is all said and done.

So does that mean I can trash the POS stock toque arm for an unbalanced engineering arm ?

Just remember that my car will be a daily-driven sleeper that can go at all time. No lopey cams or bottles to run out! Hell, I'll probably get decent hwy mileage!

Hay, give me a break. That torque arm will come soon enough, but I ran out of money! When the new rear end goes in, I plan to have the torque arm done at the same time.

Turboss - If possible, could try and snap a few pics showing where the driver's side exhaust would merge with the pass. side exhaust (near the pass. motor mount). Also, could you take a pic from underneath showing where the merged pipe comes out from under the acc. bracket.
