Progress

I got the Y-pipe to clear the Canton pan today.

Taking fire and hammer to the shinney pipes makes me sick.

I'd post pics right now, but there is no USB port to connect my camera or card reader to this terminal in thge shop.

The "blue wrench" will almost never let you down. I feel your pain regarding the need to destroy the nice finish on the piping. I had to clearance my coated Jet Hot LTs and it wasn't a real good feeling. Once you get them to fit correctly, you can always have them re-coated and never know the difference. Time will heal all the wounds!

Wow, why such a long wait? You probably could have had a custom one built and installed for just a little more.

Just muscled the tubular K-member in under the motor on the stand.
Man the steering rack is very tight to the exhaust outlet.

Also took the nose of the car off,, now I need to figure out were the intercooler goes. One pic of the cold side with the intercooler would be a big help right now.

Snorkelface

This is project takes up some space @ www.haddadmotorsports.com
Fuel systen, trans, suspension, motor, Kmember, brakes, hot and cold plumbing, engine stand, etc....

Motor and unclearenced Y-pipe

turbo mach up

Motor, All hot side turbo & exhaust
K-member is ultra tight on the power steering
the exhaust pipe just clears the driver side header

Now, I also have to figure out the cold side on my own!
I'm so Happy PTK / PTS didn't anwser the phone to day I just want to know a coulpe of answers.

-how and were does the turbo physically attach?
-how and were does the intercooler physically attach?
-do I get some kind of refund for reverse engineering there kit w/o instructions???... not even a free T-Shirt?

Well, I just finished the first attempt at cold side machup

With no idea where the intercooler actually mounts and no lable system for the pipes I can only guess and fit by trial and error.

Also I may be missing some hardware, boots and a blow off valve.
It apears that the blow off is somewhat specific and dumps back into the system pre turbo. But that equipment seems to be missing.

The massive ball of pipes surrounding a clean dressed motor is starting to collect looks from anyone walking through the shop. Thats kinda cool. But still no return phone call form PTK / PTS despite my two messages today.

Try Jose at www.ForcedInductions.com since he sells PTS kits. He should know how it goes together.
