How did you get clearance between the turbo and the radiator to fit the stock fans ? Did you get rid of the AC radiator? Is the BeCool thinner that the stock one? Because in my setup I just get with the stock radiator in place like half an inch of clearance.

I would really like to keep the stock ones they are a lot stronger than the crappy ones that PTK send me

If you look a couple pages back, you'll see that the radiator was moved forward over six inches. Very custom, but I needed to keep the AC too.

more progress

The car runs now and is just about ready fior the dyno

Screw in IAT sensor

weld in bung for the IAT and eld on mount for a man sized Blow Off Valve BOV. That mean all the PTK BOV provisions needed to be sealed.

Mike Haddad the shop owner is weary of trnas failure eo this little baby showed up on my bench. SFI stamped tranny blanket.

little items that are normally simple..
Like battery cables, starter wires, 02 sensors all be come burnable items!!!
Routing them is now a chore and protecting them a priority.

MORE!

keeping the passenger side 02 out of trouble

finished oil cooler pluming

fully wrapped and assembled turbo housing
what cant be seen here is I had to completly re fabricate the waste gate flangeS
PTK's flange 100% did not work or would it. CRAP CRAP CRAP.
Take a good look at the earlier pics of the head unit and what a joke this was for WG alignment. Boooo! thumbs down.
It all had to be re done on the NICE NICE.

another of the head unit
nice and pretty

One gauge to the starter and the old sarter wire to the alt.
that is some fat connection!
Starts great and charges great.

power and ground for the acceltronic injector converter is sneaking into the power junction and ground.

Mad props to LJ for the nice instructions.
I cranked it off and on w/o fule or spark to get the oil pressure up.
Dropped in the fuel and ignition fuses and this baby lit off for the first time in less than one full rotation!!

More pics later
Lots of cools stuff yet to post...

I did some trick pluming for the boost, eboost 2, fabbed suspension, custom wiring for the oil cooler fan into the relay box ,,,bla blaaa bla,,, and on and on.

Next step is the dyno.
And several hurdles await.

-2bar open loop speed density tune on a 97 PCM
has it ever been done before???!!!!
well it runs so far and holds AFR

-will the Pro Built Automatics Stage 2, drive shaft, and diff live to see the othere side of the dyno

-will the opti hold and not spark scatter at 2hp per cube

-will the dual pump make enough pressure for the Huge injectors??

Same bat time Same bat channel....!!!!

We want to ship his thing but doing GOOD work takes mad time.
I leave my house at 10AM and get home at midnight.

Heck sometimes I mow thru my dry earase board list and have to stair at it ....
whats next "you picky bi*ch"
I write a new list, load some tunes into my media player and get thrashing.

let me finish this one and I would be more than happy to work on you ride!

Your welcome to drop buy the shop any time.
I'll give you the free tour :-)

If you want to call the shop and talk to Mike Haddad he would be more than happy to put you on tenative status.

At Haddad's each mechanic is assigned a car.
That is his car / responibility when ever that car comes in
I only have the long term and difficult cars. (bossis not shy about it. )
I can only do two at at a time.
Either parts are on order
parts are goin on the car
cars on the dyno
or the in house diff technition has it cause I blew up another rear with too much power again.

My jobs right now are:
Kens, 97 Z28 SS Snorkelface - built 355 FMIC raceport BOV PTK big turbo A4 - doomed diff - dyno soon

Marvins, 94 Z28 Green Machine - built 383 FMIC raceport BOV max pulley V1 Delteq M6 LS7 clutch -doomed diff - out of fuel @ 580RWHP @ 5100 RPM
ignition rev limiter in stock, and fuel system awaiting funds, then the diff is DONE CAKES

on deck
Waynes, 96' Impala SS - Race Prep 383 FMIC D1SC mild pulley delteq FLT 4l80e areomotive -10 eliminator insane paint - new diff is w/ customer for break in after dyno explodicuss @ 850+RWTQ @ 4500 RPM
this monster just eats parts on the dyno, wayne is skipping the 14's 13's 12's and maybe the 11's
buy the time he actually gets to drive it with out me putting disclaimers and rules on the car he might go staight to the 10's @ 4700 pounds

I have a two lift shop with a dyno to my self most days. The alignment parts, sales, service / modification shop have there own buildings.
