Didn't get a whole lot done today. I built a support bracket and the merge.

MAN that is one pretty setup I like the way the manifolds came out. Those are some pretty welds you have there sir!

Lookin good. What do you normally do for coating? Have you considered/tried a ceramic coating on the hotparts for long term corrosion resistance?

It is up to the customer to get the kit coated if he wants. I just had my shop car kit coated ceramic coated black(made of mild steel).

 

 

Sure does look good. I'm having a local guy ceramic coat the tubing. Should I do all of it? Can you coat a turbo?

 

Just don't coat the inside of the hot side before the turbo. You can coat the turbo housing if you want. Makes it look pretty.

 

I think that is more myth than anything...

All professional coaters will coat the inside, even if they know it is a turbo application.

My turbine housing and compressor housing are both ceramic coated... inside and out.

 

Everything looks great! If you could delete the ABS block, it may free up some space for that drivers' side tubing.

 

man looks like its gonna be even worse to change that opti with that set-up. Looks beautiful though NICE!!
