Baseline 8psi dyno numbers in!

So I decided to take the iroc in to a dyno day.

8psi
91 octane
26 degrees timing
11.3 afr

584rwhp@6250
490rwtq@6240

So it likes to rev...the first run he reved to 6100...the car scared the guy, his face was awesome...he had no idea. It picked up 44hp from 61-6250

So it is a base...once I get the boost up to 12psi and meth I think I should be upper 600s

Ill post video when I get home!

its a comp custom grind.

230/236
.544/.555
114LSA

PS I ended up running a few back to back runs with a 347 Notch with a A-trim at 8PSI.

His car went good but not good enough :P

Video to come once my buddy rips it from his, I can seem to find my damn dock thing for my sony cam so im screwed for video!

Big HP, TQ seems a bit low for a turbo/stroker car.... You have 100 more hp than I, but I have 6 more fp tq, seems odd...

Mustang dyno? or Jet?

Ya i was dissapointed in the TQ, last year it did 396 n/a TQ...i THINK its a mustang dyno. The numbers seems righ on for the dyno, its the only one local and me and a few others have dyno'd and tracked our cars alot and the number are right on for the weight of our cars.

Nice man! I'd be surprised if it were a mustang dyno, but it could be. HP seems high for 8psi... more like a dynojet.

What heads you got (I forget)?

It was low, the graph didnt really steady out it just climbs on a 50* angle hahah.
At 5000 it is making 320WRTQ

Not to sure i like the cam that comp spec'd me, maybe next winter I will change it up.

It's probably more of a function of that big *** T6 turbo. My T4 T76GTS kills the tires in 3rd gear @ 5psi... and I bet I am making significantly more tq @ 5000rpm then 320rwtq... probably closer to 500rwtq.

Yea im not sure why its so much lower, last year i put down 396tq na at 3900. Unless the guy on the dyno was rolling into the gas not on it the whole time.. the sheet looks like he just rolled in (if that even makes sence)
I know the car did scare/surprise him lol.

My car kills the tires all thru 1st, 2nd and some of third (on a th400!)
