I have no idea of the dimensions of the rad really. Just go measure what kinda room you have. Its no big secret. Just need a tape measure..

I chose a 5.3 because it is the cheapest gen three engine to get a hold of and has a boost friendly compression of 9.5/1.

Up date is that everything seems to be working as it should. Runs a little warmer than the lt1 did. right about 199-210. First shot at the 2bar and the cruise is fine, but the WOT in boost was 10.1 afr and in the negatives at some points in the timing. I have got it to 11.3 and at about 8 degrees timing in boost and it runs a good damn bit better.

Im think some of the tranny stuff that the computer doesn't see is/was pulling timing. Still trying to find everythign that is pulling timing. My tables call for 13.9 - 16 degrees of timing and im no where near that. There is NO KR ever.

It spools slower than the lt1 at the moment, doesn't hit as hard, doesn't hold 6 psi (creeps to 9), and honestly feels slower.

Needs a LOT more timing and a little more fuel taken out of it tho, and that could be that 100 or so horse im missing right now.

It feels healthy, and like there is a lot more left in it, just need to find that timing somewhere.

Badass man. Hopefully you'll get the a/f and the timing right soon so you can post up a sick video.

why are you selling your turbo? Going to a .81 or something?

Get your problems figured out in boost?

Just replacing the exhaust housing with a .68 or .81 ... They run about $200

And my power steering res had a crack in it and gave up. Spit fluid everywhere. Will be putting in the new one in today in a few hours.

Note to everyone using old injectors in this new stuff... I forgot to take fuel pressure into account when i was sizing the injectors in the pcm. so my 42#'ers (at 3 bar) are really about 48.5 with the 4 bar fuel pressure..

So everything i adjusted last weekend... goes back to stock and starting from scratch today. Will have more updates later this week

Thanks for tuning in
