Settling an arguement... insight please

Ok, someone i know feels that it is impossible for me to hit 12's with my setup. I tell him he is full of crap.

So if anybody and everybody on here would like to post to this and let me know who they think is right. Go right ahead. My mods are in the sig, even with the 2.73 gears.

I need ridiculous proof to make this kid believe anything. Thanks all.

So what would tell him..."look, a bunch of guys on a Camaro board said I could"...and that would mean about nothing to most people.

The easiest way is to just go to a track and run 12's and then slow him the timeslip.

Best way to is to just do it like Catonracer said... Anything other than that is still just speculation Theres way to many varibles to just say your car will go 12's..It should be able to but that doesnt mean it does

The only proof would be a timeslip.

i know, but he is a typical ricer owner (supra) and said inorder for me to get a good enough launch, i would need a 20" slick! LOL... for someone who is really into the racing scene like he is, he is pretty ignorant. Guess ill just have to show him the slip that is better than his twin turbo supra...

Just go to the track and earn a timeslip.

Your car should certainly do it..buddies 94z without stall and cam or headers can hit 13.5 corrected for altitude and 13.8 up here at 1700ft. But you will likely not do it on street tires. I coudn't hook up my car with less power than yours on pure street tires. You will need some nittos minimum although heard great things from one guy on firestone fuzions ,he said he had been getting great times on them and their may be a few other high end street tires that can hook things up. Your 2.73 are weak but the stall makes up for them quite a bit.
I have 3.42 gears and 2800 vig .I can dead hook on the nittos but my power is pretty close to stock.
Go to track and get a video or buy a gtech type thing and take him for a ride.

I've seen lots of so called 12 second imports go to the track to only find out they run 14's.

The only way you can prove it runs 12's is to get a timeslip as proof.

Everyone thinks they have a 400 hp small block too until they get on a dyno.
