PCMcomm revisited

PCMcomm reads the MAF sensor with something called MAF / gm? PLEAASSE, what is this. I need MAF v. kilopascals (kpa) to program my computer. Anybody have a conversion, suggestion or otherwise?? Thanks. Preston.

its reading the incoming air in grams/minute. I am not sure what mean by needing MAF v KPA.. there is no table in tunercat and LT1edit that im aware with those 2 tables in that sort of relationship.

HE is propbably talking about the MAP, but even then it's kpa vs. RPM for VE tables and timing, who knows

My bad; I meant MAF kpa so I can tune VE table maf v rpm.

Anyone know the conversion for grams/minute to kpa???

The MAF sensor does not give you a vacuum reading. The MAP sensor gives that reading in KPa. The VE table look up is by MAP vs. RPM. The MAF readings have nothing to do with VE tables.

F**K, i'm an idiot. and the map figures from pcmcomm are in Kilopascals. Thank you all for pointing out the error of my ways.

One more dumb question; if I increase a VE table value, will it increase or decrease the BLM at the given range?

It won't do jack unless your running in speed density mode. BEst way to adjust BLM's is to look at them. If they are high/low across the board then change your injector constant. If they are high/low in certain areas, look what area on the MAF (NOT MAP)table correspond to that amount of flow and change those values.
