I am having problems making consistent logged runs with Freescan. I will hit log, it will ask for a name and place to save it, I choose a floppy and just before I take off, I hit enter. I think it is logging. I hit stop as soon as possible after the run. Sometimes it logs the whole run fine. Then sometimes it will log part of it and I can't figure out which part.

Does it start logging immediately when I press enter, or is there a pause? Does it only log a certain amount of time? Does it loop back and record over previous data if there is a time limit?

I haven't ever logged a run with PCMComm. What format are the files saved in? And what program can I use to open them?

One last thing, does anyone have a small program to read csv files? I don't want to load Microsoft Office just for Excel. I have no room on my dinosaur laptop for that.

you can just use notepad to read csv, its just plain text with comma's seperating the values...

As for why its not logging properly, sorry dude, no idea... Maybe the connection is getting interupted or something?
