well theres pretty much nothing conventional about the ls1, i think ill be standing there scratching my head trying to solve the next hangup so i want to avoid all of that headache by using something a little more similar to the original engine just fuel injected and i believe the lt1 is a little closer to that. but then again the ramjet i believe is pretty much a standard sb chevy but has very little room to tinker with things.(which could be good and bad!) but im actually thinking of building a standard 80 camaro not a z because im really not crazy about the ground effects although the hood is cool. also i was born in 80 so i figured it would be cool to make yet one more cool thing from 1980 i already have a 79 in fairly savable condition that was a berlinetta but needs just about every panel replaced because of dents and scrapes along the way. it will probably end up doing circles, but will leave me with plenty of spare street parts. my biggest thing is what drivetrain to use and where to find all the money to finish it. can anyone think of a combo that would be fairly simple to install and not cost 20g's. and what about the richmond 6 speed(r.o.d.), anyone have one of these? compared to the t-56?

irocznformula: Thanks, it's riding on 17x 8's 245 45's. Poly suspension. I wanna lower it though about 1.5 inches to take the gap out. Future mods will be tube A Arms, coil overs,IRS from a 4 gen vette and then 17x10's in the rear, just waiting on the Fund$ though.
