Let me get this straight, the only will be the GT-R right?
I know on previous generations there different models of skyline and gt-r was top of the line.

Looks like they're doing a comparo with a 911, you can see the porsche in the back.

 

This is the first time the GT-R has been a "stand-alone" model in its own right.

The 911 Turbo has always been the target - the goals were to meet or excede the 911 Turbo in performance for roughtly half the price; how close they'll come is another matter...we should know a lot more within the next few months.
