2nd of all, it's been pretty much established when the earliest the next Camaro will be out. It's based on a particular chassis that won't see production till next year (2007).
3rd, a company doesn't simply snap it's fingers and a car appears. There's the plant that has to be chosen, suppliers that have to be chosen & who have to develop parts & subsystems. Those parts & subsystems have to be tested & certified. As more & more people get involved in the project, and mention it, you can tell approximately how far the vehicle is away from production.
4th, and finally, GM doesn't make official announcements on cars till they actually unveil them. Go look for an official announcement on the C6 Corvette. The redesigned Impala & Monte Carlo. The XLR. You won't see "Official" announcements till the car's unveiled. Sure, you can get accurate information on it, and you can even piece together what is said by people. But it's still not "official information.
So, when you bust on here with "official" info that Camaro is going to be produced well before everyone knows it will, you come across as an assclown. This isn't the "Lounge".

I personally believe the concept SS was a sneek preview of the 5th Gen Camaro. But of course that can change. Remember the GTO concept from 1999? We certainly did not get that car into production.

Well, we all know you're wrong, so thats all that matters. And, until you show us proof that you somehow know more than ALOT of people at GM, then you will continue to be wrong. And in addition to being wrong, growing up wouldnt hurt
