Huh?? Your saying the new "camaro" will one day just show up at your local dealer for sale? I hightly doubt that, and in fact I would bet against it.
If and when Chevy decides a new "camaro" is official it will be introduced at an auto show first.

People would be split on the final production car too. Some will like the styling and some won't---same with any other car. I would never buy it if I didn't like the styling and the fact is it won't appeal to everyone one.
A concpet car would get people excited and beleiveing in GM again.

I like the no concept car idea. Obviously itll be shown at the Auto Show before you can buy one, but it will be the production version of what its going ot look like, not a concept and then have another 2 years of designing. Also, that idea for a commercial sounds AWESOME! Especially because theyve been doing those Cobalt and Corvette comercials, with the whole big brother little brother thing. The Camaro could be the middle brother!!!

And the good ol camaro IS going to be PRODUCED in late 06-early 07. NOT 08-09. And it IS going to be retro JUST LIKE the freakin 05 mustang. SAVE this post and if I am wrong then call me what you want. Where did I hear this from???? From someone who is actually involved in the 5th gen production team at GM. As soon as more INFO is released (pix, numbers) I will post.
