iCE,There are less than 10 people on this forum that can come in here with close to 100% acurate information about the new GM coupe, and a few more that know things that they cannot tell us. Meaning they are real close.If you came in here asking and saying what you think you heard you would of gotten a respectable response. I know GM can shift gears at a drop of a hat and possibilities are endless, but being a 5th gen n00b you really got this out of hand. I am sure the people in here that have been in this forum for years are checking thier sources now, and you think this is bad wait till they get a response...
with that said your remark about being 40...well you must be around 20 give or take..so that really does not make you in the know..whatever you pull off the internet , do yourself a favor and do a search on here first..its been posted...(guess who got first looks at the C6 Z06 yea us )

I think this should serve as a good indicator that the people who do know what is going on with the Camaro aren't saying much, because those who don't know are saying far too much.

This is a great example of a disinformation machine at work, albeit through some guy who doesn't know his *** from a hole in the ground.

 

Ok lets play devil's advocate for a minute. Lets go out on a limb....a REALLY big limb, and say that iCE does happen to know *someone* at GM. This someone has stumbled across some information concerning the 5th gen, probably something we already know, and tells iCE about it. Obviously iCE (nor his source for that matter) spend much time on this forum or cheers and gears or they would know that we already have said info.....So with this in mind lets not be too hard on the idea, after all we ALL want our favorite car to return. Arguing over the semantics of it all does seem a little pointless.

 

I was 9 or 10 when the Camaro came out.....we've kinda' grown up together....

Scott's about a year older than me, so I ain't the oldest antique around here....duckin' and runnin'........

You and Nikivee can relax - I'm 55 - and being of that "vintage" has allowed me to retain a couple of very fond memories!
Like... driving one of the 602 original '67 Z/28s that was virtually fresh off the showroom floor. My buddy got it as a graduation present and I drove it the same day he took delivery. (couldn't figure out the "302" badge and why it didn't have power steering!?! )
... and then finding out that this hot 18 year-old babe who lived across the street came home (her mom's) with a '67 Camaro ragtop one day (327 - 210 HP with a PowerS lide) and she asked me to teach her to drive!!
Those "driving" lessons kinda helped me "grow up" with Camaro as well!!

A friend of a friend says he recently saw a prototype of a certain Zeta coupe in Detroit.

Maybe we need to lighten up on old iCE.
