Over half of the vehicles I've owned in my short life (I'm only 23) have been domestic including some from GM: a 2000 Silverado and 94 Z28.

The way you like to spout off, you'd think you were an expert...at something

Get back to me in 25 years and 20 more GM cars......(that's where I'm coming from)

So we're supposed to hate the Japanese people as a whole today because of some crap an a**hole enemy camp commander said 60 years ago?

I think we already nuked them for that. Should we nuke them again tomorrow?

I don't think I have ever seen someone miss the point as bad as you did.

This is about cars and their quality. What you are focusing on is just a metaphor.

Nah, I'm not getting into this whole recycled argument. I'm just selecting one of the author's lines and pointing out what a stupid comment it was. That's supposed to be his final thought in the article on why you should never buy a Japanese car? Lame.

We should never buy any European cars, either. I mean look... They dumped our tea. They burned some homes. Am I the only one that saw The Patriot? My God... If I ever see another British car owner I'm going to walk up and spit on them.

Are you ready to get in line for a new Al Qaida produced vehicle?

No way... I'll just fill every vehicle I own with 'Al Queda' produced gas and pretend I'm not supporting people that hate me.

GM is doing just fine in all the polling that matters.....I'm tired of the smoke & mirrors coming from Toyota being taken as gospel....about time GM called them on it.
I learned to drive and spent 2 years with a Buick. Then a couple years with a VW. Now i'm spending a few more with a Toyota.
Of course my ignorance must be apparent, y'know having to suffer through sub-par customer service wasn't too cool.
GM lots around here seem to care more about volume (quantity over quality) and move the most cars as they can by any means nessasry (discounts, incentives, perks, etc.)
And when one of these people come back with a problem, it's WWIII trying to get them to solve it.
Kind of like Best Buy. They sell you something and if it breaks they pretend they don't know you and they'll find an excuse to as why your warranty is void.

No, I'm not an expert, but I am intelligent enough to formulate my own substantiated opinions.

I'm not just your average 23 year old.

Dude you need a history lesson. WE dumped the British tea not the other way around.

Heck if gratitude was anything all European countries should buy our cars heck we saved them TWICE.

Haha you're right.

They still burned stuff down though. And they shot Mel Gibson's kid.

I have no problems with GM wanting to call out Toyota on something, but when GM leads the industry in recalls and then trys to point fingers at Toyota for recalls, that makes it completely laughable. I think this is what Threxx was making fun of.

Most of the gas used in the United States does not come from the middle east.

My oldest is 23 and he has a very twisted unrealistic left-wing view of the world as well.
