Bob Lutz talks about Camaro on his "blog".
Re: Bob Lutz talks about Camaro on his "blog".
For all you of little faith, just remeber how many Mustangs Ford sells. You think GM, with their current managment, will just cede this market to Ford?
Now what is the natural competitor to the Mustang? What car has a very enthusiastic fan base? What car has 35 years of consistently outperforming the Mustang?(flame away, I don't care) What name is the 3rd most recognized in all of automotividom?(yeah I made up that word).
I rest my case for a new Camaro.

This isn't a GM document, but it does seem to show a projection for Camaro production tooling is underway for 2008. A little more than half way down the post there's what looks like part of a powerpoint presentation. Look at the middle of the third shot.

Notice also how it appears to be from Canada? No way of telling if this is something real that leaked out or just a convincing hoax by somone with a LOT of time on their hands.
If this is old news, my bad.

Guys, have you read the sticky at the top of this forum at all? That PDF file is what STARTED that huge long thread. Someone else posted that PDF file here and Jason deleted it saying that it was confidential information, even tho it's a publicly accessible file on a Canadian trade website. That PDF file is the cleveland_e.pdf file

Then they abandoned that market and they are ALL Ford Crown Victorias now.
So yeah, it's well within reason to assume Chevy would just abandon another market to Ford.

You know , for all the talk , speculation , and what ifs here. The one thing that really sticks out is NOBODY posted in the Blog. Well let's correct that. I did. My name's Mike Hileman and I am an admin for the Middle Tennessee F-Body Association.Silence is not heard , remember that.
