I get a feeling if it were completely up to Chevrolet, the coupe would hit the streets 1st. Most people won't believe how much Chevy is chomping at the bit to get in the ring with Mustang............ off the record and hypothetically, of course.

When Mark Reuss talked about the chassis, that was probally the biggest giveaway of how far along development was that I've ever seen in memory.
Trust me. it won't take till 2010.

BBC, you have a lot of catching up to do if you really believe the stuff you're saying.

Is Camaro a priority? Well, I guess to some people. And I guess it depends on what you mean by "priority".
As a corporation GM has some priorities. Like trucks. Also a new family of V6/V8 crossovers. Controlling healthcare and UAW/CAW contracts are priorities. I'm sure they'd like to get profitable in Europe and grab more market share in China as well.
But somewhere down the priority list is (new) Zeta and the cars that will come from it. It's moving along...but moving along through normal GM channels. I don't expect any Solstice type end runs to move it along faster.

Same thread as above which I distilled down to an argument over whether the Camaro is 3 years out or 4+ years out.
...and here's you on page 2
"The question is what was revised, was it the engineering OR was it the business model. If the business model is them same then I would take it to mean that the engineering underpinnings were moved from SLA front to strut front to lower cost for NA. If the engineering were changed I would expect these cars to be pushed back to 2010 and I would expect these cars to carry a higher price tag."

3 years out? 2009, yeah sure it could happen.
4 years out? my prediction.
Wow, what did I have to learn? Whether or not that kind of timeline constitutes a big priority at GM? Geez.
Re: 2007 Tahoe, First Pictures
Blue the post that I started was a direct quote from Mark Ruess. I tried to break down what he said further. You know what, it isn't worth my time to try to explain things to you and walk you through it in a baby steps manner. If you want to believe something then you will believe it if not then you won't. You don't want to belive so STFU and let everyone else know what's going on and you can sit there in a funk because you don't understand what is going on.
