Well just speaking for myself....

Is Camaro a priority? Well, I guess to some people. And I guess it depends on what you mean by "priority".

As a corporation GM has some priorities. Like trucks. Also a new family of V6/V8 crossovers. Controlling healthcare and UAW/CAW contracts are priorities. I'm sure they'd like to get profitable in Europe and grab more market share in China as well.

But somewhere down the priority list is (new) Zeta and the cars that will come from it. It's moving along...but moving along through normal GM channels. I don't expect any Solstice type end runs to move it along faster.

 

My dismantlement of this post will serve as a guide.



Guion says late 2008 as an '09. Z284ever says later than that(in line with my projections). I happen to think Guion is optomistic. But we'll see.
