wow,
Those are pretty fugly for a collectors edition. I really think the side decals are nasty.
I think the millenium yellow will look 100% better than that Butter Yellow

Cool

94m5, just recently got rid of the Trans Am. I traded a buddy of mine his 4x4 Chevy stepside with a 3" body lift, chrome bumper guard, chrome nerf bar things, and lots of diamond plate, and some cash, for the Trans Am. Yep, I got me a red neck truck now. LOL!

NAKSTOCKZ28, I have weighed some of them and do plan on weighing them all for my weights page. I'll try to get that info up soon.

I'm also ready to see the finished product! It's definitely going to be a looker. FWIW I think leaving the headlight pockets and grill area black is an excellent idea. I think black door handles and mirrors would also be a nice touch.

My 93 Z has the black roof, mirrors, door handles, and headlight pockets/grill from the factory. I think the black accents look great.

In the future I hope to repaint my Z Bright Blue Metallic, yellow, or possibly silver. I plan on leaving all the black accents black, though.

Hey Brent, dumb question when pricing your paint job? What would a estimate be for just a full touch up job of the smae color?

Thanks

Yes! I agree! I've been working too much and haven't had a chance to stop by. I'm going to do my best to make it over there in the morning!

A paint job of the same color from the guy painting my car would be between $2,000 and $3,000 (or more depending on color). If you want to change the color you can tack on around another $1,000.

Hey Guys!

For those interested in watching the progress of the repaint, I just posted some current pictures. They are getting VERY CLOSE!!! The removable panels have one coat of clear on them. This is going to be wet sanded and a couple more coats applied. They are just getting ready to seal the "shell" of the car and rear quarter panels now and should be applying some paint within the next day. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now

It's funny too because one of the guys who works at the shop commented on how he didn't like "yellow". But, when he saw the panels painted and the Millennium Yellow instead of just yellow, he changed his mind and thought it was going to look pretty killer

Thanks! And, I do agree with you It'll be staying BLACK. I couldn't get a good picture of this area but you can kinda see where between the fog lights is black.
