As for the 93-97's, I'm curious to know what they consider "enough demand" to warrant making a kit for those years. Taking into account the average income of your typical 93-97 owner, I'm kind've doubting it'll ever happen.
Has anyone heard if they plan on moving forward with these? Looks as though their website is down.

Are you saying that because we dont own a 98+ fbody that we dont make enough money to buy a kit? Bold statement if thats what you were implying....

The owner of Motor City High Perf is on my website, lives here locally in MI. I know last I talked to him about the flared fenders he said he still has to do the arrangements, but he is planning on moving forward with it... and I think he might be making 93-97

There is a VERY good possibility I would go for it if the timing is right, especially since they will be limited production.

Not really. 93-97 owners are mostly comprised of the younger generation who don't have alot of expendable income. Hell, $2,500 is just the entrance fee into this deal. It's not a bolt on kit, which means it's going to have to be molded to the body, which means it's going to have to be professionally installed if it's to look right. After you factor in the prep and paint work on top of the labor to install it, an $8,000-$10,000 investment for this mod is not an entirely unreasonable estimate.

I'm sure there are LT1 owners out there who would have no problems investing that kind've capital into a mod like this, but if there are, they're in the minority. Most of them would probably just laugh and say, "$8,000-$10,000 are you kidding? I could do an LS1 swap for that."

I must have missed this thread... well here's what happend. I never took my car into paint. I stopped to work on the motor ... now it's done... so I'm back to prepping the car again. I'm hoping to have it finito by the end of summer... but I'll post up better shots of the fenders once I have them looking cool in primer. The fenders aren't that wide... but they do make the 17X11's look like 9.5's. I think the picture I posted up some time ago was some months before I reworked the fender to make it stick out a bit more. The first time I did i I just flared the lip... and it made the car look off... the second time I did it, I did it the way shown in the pic floating around... where the flare covers the wheel well and ascends down along the side of the car... now this time I've decided to flare the entie panel front to back. so we'll see looks cool so far.
