Flared fenders?????????
Re: Flared fenders?????????
Great point Bragenta. If I wouldn't have looked at all three side by side I'd never notice.
Could be a really stupid question but why is it that all of the lettering on the sonnoco car is backwards?

Nah, I mirrored the pic so the car would be facing the same direction. They were right in their above posts.
I really wish that Sunoco's body panels were a kit. I'd definitely buy it for our 35th Anniversary SS. I think the front end is waaaaay better looking than the regular front end, the fender bulges and rear spoiler make the car look better than a Viper IMO too. It's a real shame GM didn't decide to make more than 1.
The Dick Harrell cars all look too muscular to me instead of extravagant like the Sunoco car. The front end appears like it has been made more blunt than the stock LS1, and the spoiler is much smaller than the one on the Sunoco. Honestly, I'm not all that fond of the hood on the Dick Harrell car either. I think it would look better if it didn't have the line in the middle molded in, and if the cowl was less dramatic. I don't remember exactly what the Sunoco one's hood looks like, but I think it's more attractive.

As for the 93-97's, I'm curious to know what they consider "enough demand" to warrant making a kit for those years. Taking into account the average income of your typical 93-97 owner, I'm kind've doubting it'll ever happen.
This company is going to make a limited supply of 98-02 Sunoco flared fender kits:

I only want the rears if the front end is not made for the 93-97.
That's cool that a company has decided to make them, but I hope they attempt to make the front bumper as well. I want a front bumper like that Sunoco car, that lower lip is perfect. I could care less about the fender flares, so if they do make one, I hope it will flow with the stock quarter panels.
Then again though... would I really change my 35thLE's front bumper out?... Probably not. It's still the way it came from SLP so I don't want to change anything...
