18's rubbing? (will they)

I may be placing a special order with American Racing for 18 inch Torque Thrust 2's but I was wondering if they would rub? They are going to make them identical to stock wheels, backspacing etc, except they will be 18's! Will they rub? And is 360 apiece a good price?

360 is A LOT for on wheel, I guess I think that since I got my set for 600. About rubbing, it all depends on the offset

I got mine for a similar price and I have the same 18s as Zack, you can find the Z06s on ebay brand new from AFS. The usual offset is 50-56mm and about 7.5" backspacing for 4th gen F-bodies.

To really evaluate how the wheel/tire combo will fit, you need to know:

-diameter = 18"

-width = ?????

-offset = ????

-tire size = ????

You can't set the offset or tire size until you pick a width. Making them "identical to stock" isn't a clear spec.... 16x8 55mm offset was stock on the base V8's, 17x9 55mm offset was stock on the WS6/SS coupes. Do you really want an 18x8" wheel, which will seriously limit the allowable tire width? Do you really want the wheel to sit as deep in the wheel well as the stockers, or would you like a slightly more aggressive "wide track" stance. You might want less than 55mm offset. Also, backspace can only be calculated from width and offset, and you can't just say 7.5" backspace withoutr knowing the width. That is the standard backspace for the TT II 17x11 4th Gen wheels. Not correct for an 8" or 9" or 9.5" wide wheel.
