I know the bowtie at the bottom can be removed but do they have replacements such as ones that say Z28 to set apart the z's from the v6's? If not they really need to do something different body wise. something noticable other than the badges! I thought about taking off the bowtie and getting a z28 side badge and seeing if it would bend to that degree on the nose and painting it that red color. But I was hoping someone has already had my idea and tried it! Thanks

You really can't take a Z28 emblem and bend it for the front. This is because not only is the bowtie creased in the center but it is also at an angle. If you were to bend the Z28 and put it on there, you'd have one side that would be straight and the other side would be pointing down slightly

 

Do you know of anyone that makes anything like that?

 

The only appearance modification I have seen for the front end on our cars is a complete LS1 conversion, the billet grilles, and I've seen a vinyl flamed decal that extends off of the bowtie.

Here's the flame thing I am talking about. The idea is pretty neat, but the quality of this decal isn't top notch. I don't think it would look too good. Flamed Bowtie

 

Why not just get a decal? THat would make the most sense to me.

 

I could make a decal for this but it too would need to be "slanted" in the center so that when it is laid in place it appears straight
