Bob thanks we got it running with your instructions, believe you talked to my friend on the phone or email Sat, his car runs completely different than it was now. All of the high rpm problems are gone.

Thanks

I pulled my motor about 1 month ago to replace the rod bolts. At this time, I did injectors, then proceded toturn the boost up a little higher. When I did this I started having problems with the LTCC again. Im not sure what is the deal with this box. It almost seems like its ideal for low horsepower applications? I have all my input wires away as far as I can, from any coil or plug wire, and its pulling codes again. It misses a little in the upper rpm range. It sounds like a rev limiter.

I think when it comes down to it, if you want to do it right the first time, put a conventional distributor in the car and call it a day.

Maybe the newer (and improved with more juice) coils are needed here.

.030 I believe. Why will a blown out spark cause a 2 or 3 code?

You have to remember that the LTCC doesn't sense a bad coil or misfiring plug, if you're getting codes its either opti related or PCM either with fuel injectors or any other part of the ignition system.

You're right, it shouldn't unless you are having problems with the plug wires.

Drop me an email I have a question.

Q,
wire in the tach at the PCM.
I'll check my schematics and let you know which wire.

OBD 1: White wire, red connector on PCM, pin #13

OBD 2 LT1: Same as OBDI PCM * AFAIK

98 LS1: Tach line is Pin 35 on the BLUE connector. Tach line is a white wire

99-00 LS1: Tach line is Pin 10 on the RED connector. Tach line is a white wire
