While most ACCEL components are designed for do-it-yourself installation, our commitment to service has led to the development of a network of EMlC's (Engine Management Installation Centers), in an effort to provide qualified installation and calibration services for the more complex ACCEL EMS Systems.

I've always had the Fast units and am not sure what "hiccups" were being mentioned above. I've never tuned with the Gen VII but have seen them tuned. The biggest disadvantage for me of the Gen VII was that it uses voltages instead of a true Air/Fuel ratio like the FAST. So I was sitting there trying to convert these into an A/F ratio to see if it was lean or rich. Of course if I had learned with voltages, this wouldn't be an issue.

I also heard that the Gen VII isn't a true wide-band O2 closed loop under full throttle system like the FAST. I do NOT know this to be true as every time I've asked on a forum it has remained un-answered. Maybe someone here knows?

Or support a product that does not lock you out of your own car

My car is red.

My honest view is to get what ever you want. For myself and anyone that asks me for tuning advice ( I have been tuning for almost 15 years) I would not touch a GEN7. I guess it has something to do with supporting a company that supports the customer not the vendors.

On a side note, ever send a unit to Accel for repair? If you did you may not want another unit.
