he lists his mods, roller rocks exhaust, afpr, CAI and hes way into the 13s, not barley into them,
notice the 105mph ET?
long block includes heads where I come from

Re: my camaro is a freak of nature...
There is no way a bone stock L98 car ran a 105 mph trap speed. My 50,000 mile 91 L98 auto ran 95 mph at baytown (sea level) on a 2.0 60'. There's not much more left in the 60' on a stock car with street tires. Sure I could have maybe run 96 mph, maybe even 97, but to run 105 I would need another 100 hp. Factory freak or not, that car did not come from the factory with an extra 100 hp.

Ok, so his car has mods. Therefore it is modded. THAT MEANS IT'S IN NO WAY STOCK. Why are you people having such a hard time at distinguishing the difference?!
My 86 305tpi has hooker headers and y pipe on it. I DONT CALL IT STOCK ANYMORE, and that's ALL I have done to it.

stick, is way better then auto, makes the car way faster,
it was running a 305 chip,
which is good and bad,
timing table isn't nearly as aggressive, but more fuel, and these cars tend to run on the lean side in the top end,

Re: my camaro is a freak of nature...
Best I ever got out of my L98 when it was completely stock was a 14.1 on a 1.9 60'. But that was also with 116K miles on it. After a few little things (exhaust, 180° thermostat, ported plenum, and AFPR) I ran a 13.8 on the same 60'. I don't count K&N's as a mod.
I don't think that a stock 305 is going to match that, before or after.

Re: my camaro is a freak of nature...
if it makes you guys feel any better. i just put some new bosch platinum spark plugs on my freak of nature so its for sure a 13 second car now.
im joking obviously about the 13 second thing...but the spark plugs are for real and they were a freakin bitch to install.

If I had put a CAI on the car with the K&N's than I would count it. But I don't believe that changing just the filters is a a true mod.
MPH with the 13.8 was only 99 mph; with the 14.1 it was 95 or 96 can't quite remember.

I tune chips, you need a WB O2 to determin if you are rich are lean,
at the top end the BLM and INT are locked to 128 so you wouldn't know that way and the stock O2 isn't accurate,
stock O2 only works at 14.7:1, when you got into PE, the ecm goes into open loop and injects a predetermed amount of fuel, based the PE tables
by lean I mean 12:1 or 13:1 crusing AFR is 14.7:1
optimal air/fuel ratio is about 11:1
to get detonation or pre-ignition at top end you'd need alot more agressive timing then what these cars run, and alot leaner AFR
