Do people stop you and ask to buy your car?

A couple of things. First, my brother-in-law had a Fiero GT---man I loved that car. In fact with todays Soltice/Miata/Saturn/Lotus....the Fiero with the right engineering would be a great car for the MPG and sporty looks.
Next, I am constantly getting compliments on my 92 heritage Z28. I will be parked by new vettes and still get compliments. I just got a professional paint job (orgininal paint color) and looks like it was new. I was offered over 10k and laughed. Im serious when I say I would not sell my car for 20 or 30K (too many memories and near death experiences lol--that car saved my life--thats another story).

some a-hole offered me 5 grand for my vert
i only call him an a-hole because the book value is alot more, the car has 35k miles on it and is in practically mint condition.
i was insulted by that offer
i havent gotten any offers on my iroc simply because most people dont see it

that's not very nice! in that case i'm asking 100k for mine.
car is only worth what someone will pay, you can't be insulted by offers as that's what they are... offers... however there is a difference when you know someone that knows what something is worth and they still lowball you.
thirdgens are getting more respect and becoming a more valued car mainly because there are hardly any in nice shape on the road. in 3 years of buying thirdgens i have not found one car under 5k that hasn't required alot of work to get it truly clean. they are all a wreck it seems.

california, new york, chicago, florida and detroit when new 4thgens were on every corner.
that's like saying someone stopped and asked to buy a dodge pickup truck? they can't give them away there are so many on the road.
98-02 4thgens were a saving grace with the power train and looks in comparison as thirdgens go so that's not hard to imagine either. 93-97 camaros are similar to the 82-84 berlinetta or simlar style thirdgens. just not wanted these days.

they just don't have the looks and styling that most women prefer which is probably why more real men like f-bodies!
