Do people stop you and ask to buy your car?

Do people stop you and ask to buy your car?
Over the last 3 months I had at least 8 people ask me at stop lights or they would follow me to shopping center or see me in a parking and ask if I wanted to sell my car. I always say no.
My IROC still needs minor bodywork and desperately needs a good paint job, and I still get all this attention. I catch people staring at it, and giving me the thumbs up.
I've cars in better condition than this (Camry, and 4Runner) and never once asked if I wanted to sell them.
I think it’s kinda cool to get this much appreciation for a car.

some a-hole offered me 5 grand for my vert
i only call him an a-hole because the book value is alot more, the car has 35k miles on it and is in practically mint condition.
i was insulted by that offer
i havent gotten any offers on my iroc simply because most people dont see it

Nobody seems to give a crap or even look at my 4th gen.
My red '91 gets alot of looks and comments.
My white '91 is in need and gets alot of attention too.
There has been people try to buy both '91's.
BTW, 4th gen is for sale.
I'm keeping my '91's!!

Well the 84 hasn't been on the road for a while, so no. But back when I did the fender flares and hood, it was painted flat black with no emblems, I had lots of people stop and ask that kind of car it was.

I went into a dealership to look at a '99 Trans Am, and the salesman came out and told me not to buy the T/A because it wasn't worth what they were asking. He then proceeded to offer me large amounts of money for my '91 vert which I stupidly turned down.
After my dad and I finished up the '89 IROC-Z, I was driving it around and got a cash offer of $2,000 for it. Insulting...that car was BEAUTIFUL

No offense to 4th gen owners, but I think that the 4th gen design was too conservative to attract much attention. I find that the body style of the 3rd gen gets more attention and is more well liked by the general population. Heck the style of the 3rd gen is why I bought mine rather than a newer and more powerful 4th gen!

I get that all the time, but not in camaro in my fiero. hay what year is that? how much do you want for it? and anyone under 20 does not think it could be an 86
"they didnt make car like that in the 80's"
