Good god props to those fiero owners, the only fieros surviving in texas look like crap (original paint, never washed) seeing those makes me want one. People do seem to appreciate these cars once again now. I had a couple offers recently, infact i went to get my injectors replaced and a guy that owned a mustang and has a f150 harley edition asked how much i wanted for it...I told him i was too obsessed with it to demand a half way sane price.

I get asked to sell parts off my car.My car doesnt look like a parts car at all,so i dont get why people want stuff from my car.I've been asked to sell my hood, sell my rims, do the custom 2nd Gen spoiler. I've even been asked to sell my Engine and trans combo before(fairly heavy breathing 355 bolted to a 96 T-56)

Alot of the people i cruise with consider my 84 one of the most radical 3rd gens in town.

Cool, I was wondering mostly about the manual trans option. Is the gearing anywhere close to good for a v8?? I would think it would be spinning a lot of rpms.

Mine is in storage for the winter, but no one has asked me about selling mine yet either. I was going to sell it earlier this year when I found out more bad news about my car, but I decided not too ... I knew I would regret it. Right now I would prob consider it ... but the price would be insanely high to me. I know how much blood, sweat, time, money, and countless arguements with my wife I have in mine, and I would probably tell the next guy to go buy his own ... this one is family.

Then again, I look back on my lack of offers and I live in a poor little farming town so everyone knows better and drives trucks and SUVs.

Although when I take it to fast food joints I love listening to people talk about it in the parking lot "I wonder what is under the hood", "I wonder how fast it goes", and I love it when the people ask me to do a burn-out as I leave the parking lot. Because I know how bad the cops are in our area I don't do the deed, but man oh man ... when I move in a few months it is on!!!

The one thing I fear is if someone wants it bad enough they may take it off my hands without paying for it in the middle of the night.

Uuumm, nope. And after being a cop for 10 years......I can't ever imagine doing anything like that........but to each their own I reckon.

Been stopped several times in different cars. The latest was in my 97. Two young cops stopped me for no front plate. Walked all around the car then asked a few question about it, said "have a good day" and left.

Big diff between looking at the outside briefly (potentially for more violations) and asking a couple questions on a legit stop (no front plate) then asking to look under the hood.....heck, I pulled over a sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet ***, near brand new, Pearl Silver Lamborghini Countach in 1991 for 120+ and didn't even look at the car more then the cursory glance inside to make sure there weren't any uzis on the front seat. Dude was a complete tool!!!!!

Personally I don't think work is the time to drool over someone else's car like that.....if they are stopped, in a parking lot or something like that, ASKING to talk about the car is one thing......pretty much anything else in my book is wrong.
