For those with vortec heads, what carb are you using? Looking to buy one soon to complete my setup as well as the manifold, and distributor.

 

i used a holley 3310-2 750vs

 

Is this an off-road-only car? If not, figure on big problems with Vortec heads and anything other than a computer controlled q-jet at emissions time.

And that's assuming your car is '87-earlier.

 

No off roading. Putting a 350 in a 92rs which has the tbi set up.

 

And you live in Los Angeles, California, and intend to register it in Los Angeles, California.

What I'm saying is, Vortec heads and a carb ain't gonna cut it at emissions inspection time.

i dont think ull need anything over a 650.

my buddy has a 70 nova w/ a 355 and vortec heads and hes running a 750 demon at first,but now wants to sell it. the cam in it is about .480 or so,but w/ 1.6 rockers his lift is around .510-.520 .
